btw u missed the road to the office.. :D

Hi Guys

Seems like ages ago when I walked into Hungama and into this massive, fast speed, high growth telecom industry and now at the end of my stay here, I believe it is due to this company and its people I am what I am professionally, hopefully still pleasant and rich with experience.

Over the year and a half, everyone has taught me more than I could ever ask for and, in some cases, might not have asked for. :) I have been fortunate enough to work with some absolute wide variety of people who have taught me invaluable lessons.

What made the biggest difference were the amazing bunch of people here.....with whom I have had a fun time working. Last but not the least, to all my friends across departments, we have tried hard to execute and successfully launch numerous services and processes and there could not have been a better & talented set of people to have worked with and so much excitement at work.

Thank u each and every one of u for your overwhelming support and I have been honored to be part of such a fantastic family. A big thanks, all the very best to all of you & hoping you stay in touch!

P.S. - But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what distinct pleasure it has been to type “Today is my last day.” J J

Yours in Farewell

Khushbu

Have you ever really loved a woman!!

Have you ever really loved a woman!! -- Bryan Adams

i wonder if this song is dream, a fantasy to know any woman so well.. and why are such songs only written abt woman... even in these times are men supposed to do all the work.. too much load on the poor man and then they say "its a man's world"
it could also be that theres so much to write abt the woman breed.. they are so interesting.. (or complicated.. :) )
i just like this song!! utterly romantic...

Do you really love a woman?
to understand her, you gotta know her deep inside
her every thought, see every dream
and give her wings if she wants to fly
nd when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms
you know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
and tell her that shes really wanted
when you love a woman then tell her that shes the one
Because she needs somebody, to tell her that its gonna last forever
so tell me have you ever really, really ever loved a woman

To really love a woman, let her hold you
till you kno she needs to be touched
you gotta breathe her, you gotta taster her
till you can feel her in your blood
when you can see her unborn children, in her eyes
you know you really love a woman

When you love a woman
and tell her that shes really wanted
when you love a woman then tell her that shes the one
Because she needs somebody, to tell her that youll always be together
so tell me have you ever really, really ever loved a woman

Oh you've got to give some faith, hold her tight
a little tenderness, you gotta treat her right
she will be there when you take good care her
ohh you gotta love your woman yeah

And when you find yourself lyting helpless in her arms
you know you really love a woman

Just tell me have you really, really every loved a woman
Ohh just tell me have you ever really really ever loved...

She's Always a Woman to me

She's Always a Woman to me - Billy Joel

A person would can bear so many tantrums, moods, ideas, shades, brain waves, thoughts et c etc etc is an awesome human being... but when u really read the lyrics, it is human shades being put in one line.. if u know and can handle this specially abt a woman, u know her in and out and can live happily ever after (hopefully)... unless your tastes change and the mystery element abt your woman is lost!!

She can kill with a smile, she can wound with her eyes
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies
And she only reveals what she wants you to see
She hides like a child, but she's always a woman to me

She can lead you to love, she can take you or leave you
She can ask for the truth, but she'll never believe you
And she'll take what you give her as long it's free
Yeah, She steals like a thief, but she's always a woman to me

Ohhh... she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants, she's ahead of her time
Ohhh... and she never gives out
And she never gives in, she just changes her mind

And she'll promise you more than the garden of Eden
Then she'll carelessly cut you and laugh while you're bleeding
But she’ll bring out the best and the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself 'cause she's always a woman to me

She's frequently kind and she's suddenly cruel
She can do as she pleases, she's nobody's fool
And she can't be convicted, she's earned her degree
And the most she will do is throw shadows at you,
But she's always a woman to me

Farewell is a sweet sorrow!!

My farewell mail to BPL, my life for 4 1/2 yrs.. somewhere still is... :-)

Dear Team Mobile,
I walked through the main security gate on 3rd Nov'03 as a young, nice, naive management graduate out of her 1st job from campus into this massive, fast speed, high growth telecom industry to work for a company called BPL Mobile Communications Limited. That day seems like yesterday and now at the end of my stay here, I believe due to this company and its people I am still young, hopefully still nice, confident and rich with experience that today defines my very being.
What made the biggest difference were an amazing bunch of people here......
.............people who made me rack the monetary side of my brain and wonder why it existed (read Finance)
.............people who made technology seem both simple and rocket-science together (read IT / Tech)
.............people who made me look into every nook and cranny of my "oh-so-AMAZING" products (read CAG / CS /RRMT & other back-end teams)
.............people who verified and re-re-verified the products (and made very needful suggestions) till the time we changed it to a new product to be verified (read : the front-end teams)
.............people who supported in all this madness of work in a strong and silent way ( read HR /Admin/Legal)
.............all the sales and marketing gang, who despite anything and everything, made work so driven and full of fun
.............the entire VAS team with whom I have had a fun time working..
last but not the least, to all my friends at BPL Mobile across departments, we work hard (numerous 1st time products and processes), we party hard (Racing aheads) and we believe that this company is the very best in the industry.
There could not have been a better & talented set of people and so much excitement at work. Thank u each and every one of u for your over whelming replies to my mails. It is very touching and I am honored to be part of such a fantastic family. A big thanks, all the very best to all of you & hoping you stay in touch !

One response worth mentioning that really really touched my heart:

Dear Nirupama,

I take this opportunity in wishing you all the best for all your future endeavors

And all the best in your personal life too..

What I loved about you... is your openess to suggestion and implementation.

And Most important is you ' Listen ' and not just ' Hear ' . I Guess this will take you very far in your professional life as well as personal.

You are Simply the Best we had in Marketing. We will surely Miss You.

Many years down the line, I know u will remain the same... Pls do not change..

All the best !!! Keep smiling as always !!! Keep in touch !!!

A BIG GOD BLESS TO YOU & YOUR FAMILY....

Warm Regards,

Kellen.

-- This was one of the many many many mails i got back from a team of more than 400 people.. felt so nice and humbling and fulfilling that i was able to touch people's lives in a way they have touched mine. made me realise, its important to voice your appreciate more often than wait for someone to leave to tell them the importance they hold in your life and the effect they have had.. try and do that!!

And miles to go before i sleep...

And miles to go before i sleep...

makes a different sense to me everytime i read it. am i getting wiser or this poem just has many meanings... i dont think many people know that the poem has another name!! :)..
My miles to go before i sleep... long miles everyday - 21 kms before i sleep everyday from work to home in the bombay city... and specially at 11pm, the sleep seems more important and the miles ironically seem longer than usual.. :)

my 1st impression of this phrase was when at age 3 i saw it on a traditional embroidered cloth framed and put in my uncles house made by my cousin sister for her art class project.. those words got her an A grade in class.. i am sure not for what they stand but simply cause she was that good in what she did even if it was creativity at a different level...

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
